About Me

Hi! I’m Bradley Owen Smith. I have over 14 years of doing business as a Mortgage Banker for the Real Estate industry Stateside, I have written hundreds of loans ranging from 100K to over 1 million dollars.

Two years ago, when the first secondary marketplace lender closed its doors to lending, I sensed lending trouble on the horizon that was going to plaque the lending industry Stateside. I started researching alternative countries where I could continue my banking expertise and find the entrepreneurial spirit of flexible lending both private and institutional.

Living in Florida, I was already accustomed to warm weather, but found the winter months to chilly for my taste. I wanted perfection. I found a country that met both my requirements for entrepreneurial spirit and perfect weather, Costa Rica fits the criteria.

Property values as well as the pace of life will remind you of the happy times of the 1960’s. The year round warm weather and plush greenery will take your breath away every day.

The rich beauty of this country is found around every corner of this tropical paradise. The people of the country are genuinely content as you will see in their unpretentious smiles. Most of the local Ticos (Costa Ricans) earn $8 Dollars a day. The cost of living in Costa Rica is easily more than one half the expense of living in the United States, Canada or Europe. The cost of living savings allows one to retire comfortably in Costa Rica on $1,000 Dollars or less. I have met some Americans living on as little as $600 Dollars, but don’t expect many luxuries on this budget.

I finally found it in Costa Rica as you will see in the following hour long film. Put your feet up, relax and see if you don’t also consider this to be a true paradise!
